Watermelon is basically water you can hold in your hand, which is why it blends into the thinnest, most drinkable smoothie. This watermelon mint detox smoothie is what I make after a long run in the heat.
Easy Watermelon Mint Detox Smoothie Recipe

This smoothie combines the sweetness of ripe watermelon with the cooling effect of fresh mint, creating a delicious and nutritious drink. It’s quick to prepare and serves 2 people, making it the perfect afternoon treat.
Ingredients
- 3 cups watermelon, diced and seeds removed
- 1/2 cup fresh mint leaves
- 1/2 cup coconut water or plain water
- 1 tablespoon honey or agave syrup (optional)
- 1 tablespoon lime juice
- Ice cubes (optional, for extra chill)
Instructions
- Prepare Ingredients: Dice the watermelon and wash the fresh mint leaves.
- Blend: In a blender, combine the diced watermelon, fresh mint, coconut water, honey (if using), and lime juice. Blend until smooth.
- Adjust Consistency: If the smoothie is too thick, add more coconut water or regular water until you reach the desired consistency.
- Serve: Pour the smoothie into glasses, adding ice cubes if desired. Garnish with a sprig of mint or a lime wedge for a refreshing touch.
Use a seedless melon so you’re not picking bits out. Chill the watermelon first and you can skip the ice entirely.
