Coconut milk is my secret for turning a thin fruit blend into something that feels like a treat. This strawberry coconut detox smoothie comes out creamy without any dairy, and the kids don’t notice the difference.
Refreshing Strawberry Coconut Detox Smoothie

This smoothie combines the sweetness of ripe strawberries with the creaminess of coconut milk, providing a rich and satisfying texture. The blend takes about 10 minutes to prepare and serves two people.
Ingredients
- 2 cups fresh strawberries, hulled
- 1 cup coconut milk (canned or carton)
- 1 banana, frozen
- 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup (optional)
- 1 tablespoon chia seeds (optional)
- 1/2 cup ice cubes (optional)
- Fresh mint leaves for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Prepare Ingredients: Hull the strawberries and peel the banana if using a fresh one. If using frozen banana, you can skip this step.
- Blend the Ingredients: In a blender, combine the strawberries, coconut milk, frozen banana, honey or maple syrup, and chia seeds if using.
- Add Ice: For a colder and thicker texture, add ice cubes to the blender.
- Blend Until Smooth: Blend everything on high speed until the mixture is smooth and creamy. Adjust sweetness if needed.
- Serve: Pour the smoothie into glasses, garnish with fresh mint if desired, and enjoy immediately.
Shake the can of coconut milk first, since the cream separates. Blend it in last so the smoothie stays silky instead of clumpy.
