This Grilled BBQ Chicken Alfredo Skillet features tender grilled chicken coated in barbecue sauce, served over fettuccine pasta tossed in a creamy Alfredo sauce. The dish can be made in about 30 minutes and serves 4 people.

Ingredients

  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup BBQ sauce
  • 8 oz fettuccine pasta
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chopped parsley for garnish optional

Instructions

  1. Grill the Chicken: Preheat your grill to medium-high heat. Brush chicken breasts with olive oil, season with salt and pepper, and grill for 6-8 minutes on each side until fully cooked. Brush with BBQ sauce in the last few minutes of grilling. Once done, slice the chicken and set aside.
  2. Cook the Pasta: In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil. Add the fettuccine and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside, reserving about 1/2 cup of the pasta water.
  3. Make the Alfredo Sauce: In a large skillet, heat a tablespoon of olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant. Stir in the heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Add the Parmesan cheese and mix until the sauce is smooth and creamy. If the sauce is too thick, add reserved pasta water until desired consistency is reached.
  4. Combine: Add the cooked pasta to the skillet and toss to coat in the Alfredo sauce. Top with the grilled BBQ chicken slices and drizzle with additional BBQ sauce if desired.
  5. Serve: Remove from heat, garnish with chopped parsley, and serve immediately while warm.
