Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 cup pizza sauce
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 12 slider buns
  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
  • Toppings: sliced pepperoni, bell peppers, olives (optional)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Beef: In a skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef until fully cooked. Drain excess grease if needed.
  2. Season: Add pizza sauce, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper to the beef. Stir well and let simmer for about 5 minutes.
  3. Preheat Oven: While the beef simmers, preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  4. Assemble the Sliders: Slice the slider buns in half horizontally and place the bottom half in a greased baking dish. Spoon the ground beef mixture evenly over the buns and sprinkle with mozzarella cheese.
  5. Top and Brush: Place the top half of the buns over the cheese. In a small bowl, mix melted butter and garlic powder; brush this mixture over the slider tops. Optionally, sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
  6. Bake: Cover with foil and bake for 15 minutes. Remove foil and bake for another 5-10 minutes, or until cheese is bubbly and sliders are golden brown.
  7. Serve: Allow sliders to cool slightly before slicing. Serve warm with extra pizza sauce for dipping, if desired.
