This BBQ Sandwich Really Packs A Punch

Ingredients:
1 large baguette, 250g minced beef, 100g favorite cheese, 2 small onions, 1 small handful jalapenos (optional), oil for frying
Garlic Butter: 1 tablespoon butter, 2 cloves of garlic, 2 teaspoons parsley
Seasoning mix: 2 teaspoons salt, 1 teaspoon pepper, 1 teaspoon paprika, 1/2 teaspoon garlic, 2 teaspoons Cajun seasoning

Recipe:
Put some oil in a pan and fry the beef in it.
Season with the spice mixture and fry for 5 minutes.
Put the beef in a bowl and set it aside.

Take the pan again and add a little oil into it.
Cut the onion into rings… Put it in the pan and fry them for 5-6 minutes. Until they are nice and soft.

Now we build the sandwich.
Cut the baguette in the middle lengthwise.

Place the meat on the sandwich.
Then the soft fried onions.
Give it a layer of cheese and if you like it hot, top the whole thing with jalapeno slices.

Put the lid on the baguette…

Mix the butter, parsley and pressed garlic cloves well together.
Spread the butter on top of the baguette.

Wrap the baguette in aluminum foil and give it at 180°C/360°F for 10 minutes in the oven.
Open the foil and bake another 5 minutes.

Cut in hand-sized pieces and it’s finished! 🙂
Enjoy the meal!
