Unicorn Krispies

Starbucks Unicorn Frappuccino was our inspiration… The day it came out, our chefs had the idea to create something OVER THE TOP as a dessert and call it Unicorn Krispies.  Marshmallow treats, fruity cereal, cake and frosting organized into a sugar rush from heaven.  Make this for your child’s birthday, or a treat you can divide into bite-sized portions, as just one bite is enough to rocket you over a rainbow to meet unicorns… and perhaps become one!

Ingredients:

7 cup fruity pebbles cereal
10 oz mini marshmallows
8 TBSP butter
1/2 cup white chocolate chips
10 oz sweetened condensed milk
8 oz cool whip
12 oz white frosting
angel food cake ( we used strawberry in this video)
sprinkles or candies to garnish

Directions:
Over medium heat, in large pan, melt butter and marshmallows. Stir well until smooth liquid. Add pebbles to mixture and stir, turning off heat. Stir until cereal is well coated. Pour into greased 9 x 13 pan. Press into dish and sprinkle white chocolate chips over top. Set aside. In a bowl, mix sweetened condensed milk, 4 oz cool whip and 6 oz frosting well with mixer until completely smooth. Spoon half mixture onto pan, spread evenly. Cut angel food cake into small slices and cover entire surface. Press well into liquid. Spoon more liquid on top of angel food cake slices. With additional cup of fruity pebbles, spread evenly over entire surface and press well into pan. Mix 4 oz cool whip and 6 oz frosting with 8 drops red food coloring and mix well to create pink frosting. Spread pink frosting evenly over entire top of pebbles. Top with various colored sprinkles, rock candy, sanding sugar and nerds candy for desired fun and unique Unicorn look. Enjoy!
