  • 1 package (3 oz) of black cherry gelatin

  • 1 cup tonic water for black cherry layer
  • 1/2 cup vodka (optional) for black cherry layer

  1. Prepare the Green Layer: In a mixing bowl, dissolve the lime gelatin in 1 cup of boiling water. Stir until fully dissolved. Add 1 cup of tonic water and 1/2 cup of vodka (if using). Mix well.
  2. Pour the Green Layer: Carefully pour the green mixture into shot glasses, filling them about halfway. Place them in the refrigerator to chill for about 30 minutes or until set.
  3. Prepare the Black Cherry Layer: In another mixing bowl, dissolve the black cherry gelatin in 1 cup of boiling water. Stir until fully dissolved. Add 1 cup of tonic water and 1/2 cup of vodka (if using). Mix well.
  4. Pour the Black Cherry Layer: Once the green layer is set, carefully pour the black cherry mixture on top of the green layer in each shot glass. Return to the refrigerator and chill for another 1-2 hours until fully set.
