When you get tired of the same old dinner routine, why not change things up? A simple base for a dish, like chicken for example, has thousands of ways to be varied so that you never feel stuck in a rut again.  In this dish, you can stuff your chicken with flavorful accessories and top it with some surprising items that add tastes you never imagined.
Ingredients:
2 pieces buttered garlic bread
2 chicken breasts
10 asparagus spears
4 oz cream cheese
swiss cheese squares
garlic
fresh basil leaves
italian seasoning
arugula
1 TBSP ginger
1 small container of pomegranate seeds
1/2 cup powdered sugar
Directions:
In large saucepan over medium heat, melt butter and toast bread on each side. Set aside. Smootly cut a slit into the chicken breast approximately halfway through, deep enough to place vegetable and cheese inside. Place pieces of cream cheese on top of bundle of asparagus, then wrap in swiss cheese slices. With one hand, hold breast open while sliding cheese wrapped asparagus inside. Stuff basil leaves in between cheese and chicken and close. In same saucepan as before, place chicken breast and sprinkle italian seasoning over entire top of chicken. Add 1/4 cup water to side of pan. Place lid and cook on medium heat for 10 minutes. In a small pan, over medium heat, pour pomegranates, ginger and powdered sugar and stir well. Wait until mixture comes to rolling boil. Remove both from heat, being sure to check that chicken is fully done before removing. On a large plate, place toast, then 2 slices of swiss cheese, arugula, stuffed chicken breast, and finally pomegranate jam. Optional: add sour cream on top. Ready to serve! Enjoy.
